This theme of monkeys in funny situations has been a popular décor on porcelain for over four hundred years and we love to bring them back to the dining table. In Asia they often decorate porcelain with monkeys as a symbol for wisdom and a long life.” This porcelain coffee mug has a traditional Delft blue edge on the bottom part but the rim is decorated with elegant branches and dangling monkeys.
