Wave the summer goodbye with its sweltering temperatures and welcome autumn with open arms. The days are getting shorter and temperatures are dropping gently, so we are increasingly seeking the comfort of our homes. The home decor trends for Fall 2023 show that we do not want to say goodbye to the outdoors. The latest home accessories are aimed at bringing the soothing effect of nature into your home. Lush flowers, lots of greenery, birds in flight, raw materials and even a small revival of the "funky 70s".

Trend 2023: Fresh breeze in the house

Trees represent life and oxygen and they experience the most obvious change in the fall. Their leaves turn from all shades of green to yellow, orange, red, purple and brown. An almost magical process that we can enjoy in amazement. These are the trend colors of autumn in 2023. Add the basic color Vintage Green to your home and complement it with dramatic prints full of deep, rich autumn colors and beautiful flowers. Wooden furniture in a warm, dark shade can once again take a prominent place in the home and come alive with a beautiful large vase in the middle.

The hand-painted Nature Design collection is an ode to nature and combines fresh green colors with traditional Delft blue. These vases are a stylish eye-catcher on a polished table. Or stack the trend colors of autumn together yourself, with a Stapelgekte tulip vase that consists of three layers. For example, take green as a base, add a modern center piece with a marble painting and choose a matte black top as the top.

Trend 2023: Nature on the wall

The most striking trend this fall are wall plates with lush flowers and birds on the wall. The wall plates all match the trend colors of the moment, such as moss green, cinnamon brown, pumpkin orange and cobalt blue. With a retro 70s touch, which is currently making a comeback in home decoration land! In the autumn, Dutch designer Richard Hutten, in collaboration with Heinen Delfts Blauw, will launch an artistic retro collection of wall plates that embody this autumn trend. Still lifes, dramatic flowers and vinyl LPs spinning around, all on one wall plate. Time for some eclectic funk on the wall!

Rough stone and porcelain for Fall 2023

When the days become shorter and colder, we automatically look for warmth. A lovely fire, candles lit and food and drink that refreshes and comforts us. Rough stones and the shapes of pebbles are also a common trend this autumn and winter, such as this Blauw Bloesem tableware by designer Debbie Wijskamp for Heinen Delfts Blauw. The tableware resembles a rough stone that you cut in half: rough and unprocessed on the outside, radiant and polished on the inside. The thick porcelain retains the heat of the drink for a long time and therefore feels like a lovely jug in the hand. While you are enjoying a hot chocolate on the couch, you can see the birds fly away in v-formation, fleeing the approaching winter.

Trend colours: vintage green, pumpkin orange, cobalt blue, cinnamon brown.

Trend materials: rough stone, porcelain, wood.

Trend styles: 70s, retro, nature, old Dutch painting.
