Wall Flower Pot Blauw Bloesem - Porcelain

This fun flower pot is made to hang on your wall and is part of the Blauw Bloesem collection by Debbie Wijskamp. This designer always prefers to work with natural materials and she wants to push the boundaries of how common objects are used. “I work a lot with natural materials and textures. Blauw Bloesem is inspired by century old earthenware that has been excavated. I love it when you can tell that an object has a history and that it had a purpose for someone. I love the texture that old earthenware gets when it has been buried underground for so long. It is special with time does to an object. Like you are holding a raw stone in your hand in stead of a polished plate or in this case a flower pot.” The flower pot has an unpolished porcelain bottom and a glazed top and has a subtle Delft blue floral decoration. The back of the wall pot is flat and has holes in it so you can easily attach it to the wall.
