At most elementary schools in the Netherlands, they celebrate "juffendag" at the end of the year, and that includes a gift for the teacher on behalf of the entire class. Personalizing a gift for the teacher

A gift for the teacher becomes an extra nice keepsake when you can give it a personal touch. You can choose to give the whole class a hand-painted Delft blue tile with your own design, but it is also possible to use a porcelain marker to add names to an existing product. For example, a large salad bowl is perfect for writing all the names of the class on the bottom. Put the bowl in the oven for a moment to bake it off and the names will be indelible. Or choose a three-piece white tulip vase and have all the children add a small message or drawing with porcelain marker and bake it at home. A lasting reminder of that special year together.
